IGS Solar recently announced two new solar arrays, developed through the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) Feed-in Tariff (FiT) Program, are now fully operational and will provide clean energy to Los Angeles for decades to come.
On Thursday, October 25, IGS volunteers will visit Pittsburgh Allegheny Elementary School in Pittsburgh to put on a coat donation event for hundreds of kids in need. The event will pair volunteers with young students to help them try on, and go home with, a brand-new, warm winter coat. The gift of a new coat not only keeps a child warm, but provides a boost in self-esteem and the confidence to get to school on cold days.
Operation Warm, a non-profit organization that provides brand new winter coats to children in need, has partnered with IGS Energy, a local natural gas and electricity supplier, to donate 350 coats to kids at Bolton Elementary School.
