The First Baptist Church of Glenarden celebrated completion of its 2.056 photovoltaic solar array last month. Working with Suntrail Energy as the developer and builder, and IGS Solar as owner and operator of the project, the church’s array will create over 2,800MWh of electricity per year.
Tiffin University (TU) and IGS Solar will begin construction soon on the first solar project to be constructed on the rooftop of the University’s Heminger Center. The solar system will drive a cleaner, emission-free energy platform, as well as mark the beginning of TU’s environmental commitment.
IGS Solar has announced completion of its rooftop solar array for Unilever, a transnational consumer goods company whose products are sold in 190 countries worldwide and include food, beverages, home care and personal care products.
IGS Energy partnered with the Chicago Bears and Chicago Gateway Green for the Save Da Planet sustainability event that took place at Southside Occupational Academy High School.
