The largest solar array in the state of Maine is now operational at the Madison Business Gateway.

IGS Solar, LLC, a turnkey commercial and residential solar provider, has partnered with Sol Systems, a solar energy investment and development firm, to install a 4 MW array in Lexington, which is located 170 miles west of the state’s capital

Installation of Central Oregon Community College’s (COCC) half megawatt solar array at the school’s Redmond campus is now complete.

Madison Electric Works (MEW) in Madison, Maine recently selected IGS Solar to install a solar energy generating facility at the Madison Area Business Park. The facility, with maximum capacity of up to 4.4 MW (enough to power about 880 homes) will be designed and installed by Advanced Solar Products and Cianbro.

A public ribbon-cutting and tour are scheduled for July 21 at 10 a.m. at the site of the second largest solar array in New Hampshire, known as the Oyster River Forest Solar Array.
