Case Study: Spotlight on Collaboration

With continual challenges when it comes to funding for nonprofit universities, this small, private university located in Northern Ohio has remained focused on being responsible when it comes to operations spending. Solar was on the radar as an option, but the upfront costs had previously prevented Tiffin from moving forward with installing a system at their main campus.

IGS Solar contracted with the University to make solar a reality. We own, operate, and will maintain the rooftop array of 705 panels, which is designed to generate enough power to meet about 26% of Tiffin’s Heminger Center’s annual power needs. With this partnership, the University can deliver on its commitment to use clean energy while helping to boost the positive impact of solar in the state of Ohio.
