Case Study: Spotlight on Resourcefulness

As one of America’s premier schools for students with complex disabilities, Cotting School has always been focused on investing time and resources to deliver the best experience to their students. That’s why considering solar energy to power their facilities was a natural fit with their overall philosophy. However, the upfront costs and ongoing maintenance responsibilities and costs presented a challenge to moving forward with such a project.

IGS Solar simplified the process and costs associated with going solar for the Cotting School. We financed, own, and operate their 364 kW system, which includes more than 1,350 panels and provides more than half of the facility’s annual power needs. As a result, the school is positioned to invest the money saved on energy costs back into their students and their education.

Solar Line Break

“This agreement with IGS Solar allows us to invest the money saved on energy costs into what matters most – our students and their education.”
