We believe that businesses should be doing more than just making money; they should also be making a positive change in the world. We defined our company values in 2010 and wanted them to be more than just a list of words on a piece of paper. Our values thread through every project, every customer we serve, every interaction we have, and every decision we make.
Ten years ago, we kicked off our internship program with just three college interns joining our commercial & industrial sales department. Fast forward to 2019, and this past summer’s program boasted interns from 11 universities in and around Ohio, who were all hired to do meaningful work across the company.
The energy industry is changing rapidly and so are the needs of customers. To stay relevant, we need to understand our consumers and their needs. Here at IGS, we work hard to stay innovative so that as a company, we can evolve and meet the needs of our customers.
Investing in our employees’ professional development is undoubtedly important, but we recognize that devoting resources to support their health is just as essential. This includes conditions you can see and those you can’t…like mental health.
Pancakes. Trivia. Pizza. Crafts. For the children of IGS employees, participating in the company’s annual Take Your Child to Work Day, it’s just another day at the office. More than 50 kids reported for ‘work’ at IGS on April 25, 2019.
