Sellout Announced for IGS Energy Evening with Barenaked Ladies Presented by City of Dublin

IGS Energy Headquarters in Dublin Ohio

Dublin, Ohio –Officials of the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide Insurance announced today that VIP tickets and sponsorships to its 2014 benefit concert have officially SOLD OUT. It is the first time in the eight-year history of the annual benefit concert that the event has reached a sellout. IGS Energy Evening with Barenaked Ladies presented by City of Dublin will benefit the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation and Nationwide Children’s Hospital alliance in support of the Memorial Tournament Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Nationwide Children’s. The sold out concert will be held this Friday, May 16, 2014, at The LC – Lifestyles Community Pavilion in Columbus. VIP doors open at 6 p.m. EDT.

“Entering the eighth year of our annual benefit concert we could not be more proud of what we have accomplished with the growth of the event,” said Memorial Tournament Executive Director Dan Sullivan. “We suspended tickets sales at the end of business Monday (5/12/14) and have declared a sellout for all charity VIP guests of the Barenaked Ladies concert. We are indebted to all of the corporate and individual support the event has received to reach this sellout position, and we are proud to be able to support Nationwide Children's Hospital ‎with such a successful and fun event.”

All proceeds benefit the Memorial Tournament NICU at Nationwide Children’s through an alliance with the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation. Since it began in 2007, the annual benefit concert has raised more than $625,000.

In June 2010 a charitable alliance was announced among the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide Insurance, Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation for the benefit and advancement of pediatric care. With this aligned vision, all proceeds of the concert directly benefit the young patients served each day by the Memorial Tournament NICU at Nationwide Children’s.

Advancing pediatric care in the Memorial Tournament NICU is already evident with its family-centered environment that provides the finest medical care for premature and sick infants. The NICU is one of the largest neonatal networks in the country and was ranked 5th in the specialty ranking of Neonatology in this year’s U.S. News and World Report’s 2013-2014 Best Children’s Hospital’s Rankings report. Rigorously trained neonatologists, advanced practice nurses and therapists utilize an interdisciplinary care approach to diagnose and treat patients suffering from complex birth defects, respiratory distress and metabolic diseases. This combined expertise makes the Memorial Tournament NICU one of the finest in the nation.

General admission tickets for Barenaked Ladies remain available at all Ticketmaster locations while supplies last. General admission tickets do not benefit the Memorial Tournament NICU at Nationwide Children’s. For more information on general admission please visit www.PromoWestLive.com.
