IGS Energy Announces Premier Sponsorship of Jackson Baseball Association

Dublin, OH, May 2, 2016 – IGS Energy, a leading nationwide independent energy supplier, recently announced their premier sponsorship of the Canton, Ohio-based Jackson Baseball Association (JBA) for the 2016 season. The association was established in 1991 and supports 70 area recreational and travel youth baseball teams annually.

But beyond that, we also feel a responsibility to support the communities we serve, and this sponsorship allows us to do that in a meaningful way.”

Rich Oaklief, regional sales manager with the energy supplier, is a coach for his son’s JBA baseball team and identified the opportunity to support the organization. “I’m honored to work for a company that’s compelled to make a difference in the areas we serve,” he said.

IGS Energy’s sponsorship runs through December 31, 2016. Other recent grassroots marketing efforts by the energy supplier included donations to 47 high schools in the markets they serve throughout Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Texas during the 2015 fall football and 2016 winter basketball seasons. The recipients each received a $2,000 check to use for school initiatives.
